This weather phenomenon is due to a prevailing westerly wave affecting Pakistan's upper and central regions. Residents should prepare for increased rain, wind, and thunderstorms in isolated locations such as Rawalpindi, Murree, Galyat, and other areas.

In Lahore, the upcoming days are expected to bring maximum temperatures ranging from 39-41°C on Friday and Saturday. Recent reports indicate that Lahore and some parts of Punjab have already experienced rain, wind, and thunderstorms, with Mandi Bahauddin receiving the highest recorded rainfall at 17mm.

Additional regions like Sialkot, Mangla, Sheikhupura, and Jhang have also witnessed varying levels of rainfall. Bahawalpur recorded the highest temperature in the province at 41°C, accompanied by an evening relative humidity of around 40%.
