Chairman CDA and Chief Commissioner Islamabad honor sanitary workers for their service during Eid-ul-Azha. Recognition event highlights the crucial role of these workers in maintaining cleanliness in the capital city.

Chairman CDA and Chief Commissioner Islamabad, Mohammad Ali Randhawa, recently hosted a reception to honor the sanitary workers who diligently served during Eid-ul-Azha in Islamabad. This event was organized following the directive of Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, who emphasized the importance of recognizing the efforts of these essential workers.

During the reception, a bonus equivalent to one month's basic salary was announced for the CDA workers who excelled in sanitation duties over the Eid holidays. Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi commended the sanitary workers for their crucial role in the success of the Zero Waste City operation during Eid-ul-Azha, highlighting the significance of their contributions.

Chairman CDA Mohammad Ali Randhawa and other officials expressed gratitude towards the sanitary workers for their dedication. The workers, in turn, appreciated the personal gesture of the Federal Home Minister for acknowledging their hard work.

Randhawa praised the officers and sanitary workers, calling them heroes for their pivotal role in the Zero Waste City operation. He expressed optimism for Islamabad's continued prosperity, attributing the city's cleanliness to the relentless efforts of the sanitary workers.

The establishment of a control room at Safe City and the use of biodegradable bags were identified as key factors in the operation's success by the CDA Chairman. Deputy Commissioner Islamabad Irfan Memon also lauded the historic recognition of the sanitary workers' services at a high level, emphasizing the importance of acknowledging their contributions.

IG Islamabad extended appreciation to the officials for highlighting the unsung heroes among the sanitary workers. He commended the workers for their commitment to cleanliness, even during the festive period of Eid, showcasing their dedication and sacrifice.
