Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur leads Eid celebrations

Eidul Fitr is being joyously celebrated in the southern districts of Dera Ismail Khan, Tank, and South Waziristan with great religious fervor. The Eid Namaz prayers were conducted in mosques, Eidgahs, and open spaces across all towns and villages in these districts. During these prayers, religious scholars emphasized the importance of Eidul Fitr. The celebrations were attended by a multitude of faithful individuals, including those who had returned to their hometowns for the occasion, as well as prominent political figures such as Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ali Amin Gandapur.

Special prayers were offered for national prosperity, peace, and unity among the Muslim Ummah. Families and friends are gathering to exchange Eid greetings, share sweets, and enjoy each other's company. Children are receiving new banknotes from their elders and delighting in their new clothes and shoes.

To ensure a peaceful celebration, stringent security measures have been put in place, focusing on preventing activities like aerial firing, one-wheeling, and the use of firecrackers. The district police have initiated a social media campaign to raise awareness about the dangers of such practices, emphasizing that momentary joy for one individual can lead to lifelong sorrow for others.

Civic agencies have finalized plans to maintain cleanliness in streets and public areas, with staff actively engaged in these efforts. Additionally, Rescue-1122 has canceled leaves for its personnel to ensure prompt emergency services during the Eid holidays.
