Chinese Consulate General leads 'Light Up Gwadar' project

A new initiative called 'Light Up Gwadar' has been introduced in Pakistan to enhance nighttime lighting in crucial public areas such as hospitals and schools in the region. The Chinese Consulate General in Karachi supervised the installation of 73 solar-powered streetlights in five key locations in Gwadar, including the fishing pier, waterfront promenade, East Bay Expressway exit, and the local hospital. This project aims to improve accessibility and safety for local residents and fishermen during the night.

The completion of this project right before the Eid-ul-Adha celebrations has brought happiness to the community.
