In a recent meeting at the Bahawalpur office of the Civil Defense Department, Government of Punjab, officials gathered to evaluate the ongoing efforts to tackle the issue of illegal filling of LPG gas. Led by Regional Assistant Director Rana Tariq Waheed, the meeting saw the participation of key figures such as Civil Defense Officer Bahawalpur Tahir Abbas Bhutto and Chief Instructor Naveed Ahmad Mirani.

During the meeting, officials provided updates on the crackdown against illegal LPG gas filling activities in the district. More than 25 locations involved in such unlawful practices have been identified and subsequently closed down. Furthermore, fines have been levied on several establishments for their failure to adhere to fire safety regulations.

Illegal filling of LPG gas poses serious risks to public safety and property, making it imperative for authorities to take swift action to curb such activities. By shutting down unauthorized filling locations and enforcing penalties for non-compliance with safety standards, the Civil Defense Department aims to safeguard the community from potential hazards.
