Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) recently cracked down on illegal gas usage in Multan, taking action against five individuals. The Task Force officials uncovered that these consumers were misusing gas for commercial purposes, providing unauthorized connections, and tampering with meters without permission. Consequently, the gas supply to these consumers was disconnected as a consequence of their violations of regulations.

The department is urging citizens to report any instances of illegal gas usage by contacting the designated phone number. Those who provide information are assured of confidentiality. Regional Manager Hussain Zafar has confirmed the establishment of a dedicated unit to promptly address complaints. Furthermore, officers have been tasked with ensuring the efficient handling of reported issues.
