COAS General Munir stresses the importance of focusing on Pakistan's development amidst negative propaganda and distractions. The Green Pakistan Initiative aims to attract investments to revolutionize the agriculture sector, with a vision of enhancing productivity and transforming barren lands into fertile grounds.

The Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Syed Asim Munir emphasized the importance of staying focused on the development and prosperity of Pakistan amidst negative propaganda and social media distractions. Speaking at the Green Pakistan Initiative (GPI) conference, attended by top civil and military officials including Federal Ministers Ahsan Iqbal and Rana Tanveer Hussain, the COAS reaffirmed the nation's commitment to the initiative.

The GPI, inaugurated by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and the army chief last year, aims to attract billions of dollars in investments to revolutionize the agriculture sector in Pakistan. PM Sharif envisioned the initiative as a second green revolution, projecting significant investments of 30 to 50 billion dollars over the next few years to enhance productivity and transform barren lands into fertile grounds.

General Munir reiterated the unity of 'Team Pakistan' in driving the country's development agenda forward, vowing to thwart any attempts to hinder progress. He stressed the crucial link between economic stability and national independence, highlighting the army's unwavering support for Pakistan's economic growth and overall security.

The conference concluded with federal ministers praising the transformative potential of the GPI in revitalizing Pakistan's agriculture sector, which they described as the lifeline of the nation. They expressed optimism that the initiative would introduce modern agricultural practices, paving the way for sustainable development and prosperity in Pakistan.
