General Asim Munir, the Chief of Army Staff (COAS), visited the Line of Control (LoC) in the Haji Pir sector on the occasion of Eid. He highlighted the sacrifices made by martyrs in defending Pakistan and expressed pride in celebrating Eid while ensuring the nation's security. The COAS, along with officers and soldiers, offered Eid prayers, praying for peace and prosperity in Pakistan.

Gen Munir reiterated Pakistan's stance on the Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), condemning India's oppression of Kashmiris. He warned against any provocation on Pakistan's territorial sovereignty, vowing a swift response with the nation's full support.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif extended warm Eid greetings to the nation and Muslims worldwide. He expressed solidarity with those facing violence in regions like IIOJK and Palestine, emphasizing the struggle for self-determination in these areas.

President Asif Ali Zardari called on the nation to uphold values of brotherhood, sacrifice, and selflessness on Eid, highlighting the importance of these principles.

The Eid celebrations at the Line of Control not only honored the sacrifices of martyrs but also underscored Pakistan's unwavering stance on the situation in IIOJK.
