Commissioner Naqvi leads Karachi's traffic management overhaul

Karachi's city officials, led by Commissioner Syed Hassan Naqvi, recently held a high-level meeting to tackle the growing traffic problems plaguing the city. The focus was on finding solutions to alleviate traffic congestion, particularly caused by intercity bus stops in busy urban areas.

One of the key decisions made during the meeting was to relocate these bus stops to the outskirts of the city. Furthermore, the government plans to allocate funds generated from traffic fines towards completing necessary expenditures for enhancing traffic infrastructure. Various sites outside the city, including the superhighway, have been identified for the construction of intercity bus terminals, as part of the approved project by the Sindh Government.
