Authorities in Karachi, led by Commissioner Syed Hassan Naqvi, recently conducted a comprehensive meeting to assess the arrangements for the collection and disposal of sacrificial animal offal during the upcoming Eid-ul-Azha festivities. The meeting, attended by key officials including Additional Commissioner Syed Ghulam Mehdi and Executive Director Tariq Nizamani from the Sindh Solid Waste Management Board, focused on ensuring a smooth and efficient process for offal management.

During the meeting, it was confirmed that all necessary preparations for offal collection and disposal had been finalized. Each town municipal administration had established 99 collection points across the city, with full support from the Solid Waste Management Board in terms of vehicles, staff, and resources to facilitate the operations.

Deputy Commissioners from various areas such as West, Korangi, and Keamari actively participated in the meeting, either in person or through virtual means. They shared detailed insights into the arrangements made in their respective regions and committed to supervising the offal collection activities to ensure proper execution.
