Commissioner Shirazi stresses transparent fund use in Gujranwala meeting

Commissioner Naveed Haider Shirazi of Gujranwala Division recently chaired a meeting where he highlighted the importance of transparent and responsible use of government funds. He stressed the need to utilize resources in the best interests of the public and the nation. During the Divisional Development Working Party meeting, Shirazi approved revised estimates for development projects in Hafizabad, Sialkot-Mandi Bahauddin, and Narowal.

Shirazi reiterated the importance of officers prioritizing responsible and honest spending of available resources. He issued a warning against unjustified delays and misappropriation of funds, stating that any proven corruption complaints would lead to immediate action. The meeting also included a briefing by Development Director Muhammad Abdul Rauf on the revised estimates.

Two public health engineering projects in Hafizabad were approved during the meeting at a revised cost of 240.175 million. These projects encompass various components such as drainage, soling, tuff tiles, and drains. Furthermore, the commissioner instructed for the completion of a patchwork ranging from 15 to 20 feet on Daska Main GT Road.

Commissioner Shirazi's emphasis on the transparent and responsible use of government funds underscores the commitment to efficient resource utilization for the benefit of the public.
