Commissioner Yousafzai Leads Anti-Drug Campaign in Mardan Division

Commissioner Shoukat Ali Yousafzai of Mardan Division has taken a proactive stance against drug abuse by directing the district administration and Dispute Resolution Councils to initiate an awareness campaign. This directive came during a meeting chaired by Commissioner Yousafzai and attended by key officials including Brigadier Mazhar from the Anti-Narcotics Force KP and Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Fayaz Khan Sherpao.

The focus of the campaign will be on educating the communities in Mardan and Swabi areas about the detrimental effects of substances like heroin and ice. Commissioner Yousafzai emphasized the importance of organizing seminars in universities and colleges to spread awareness about the dangers of drug abuse.

In addition to raising awareness, the commissioner stressed the need for close coordination between the district administration and the Anti-Narcotics Force to effectively combat the drug menace in the region.
