Deputy Commissioner of Murree, Agha Zaheer Abbas Shirazi, has highlighted the ongoing efforts to improve healthcare services for the community. He emphasized the crucial role of Basic Health Units (BHUs) in providing quality healthcare services at the grassroots level.
During a recent inspection of BHU Lehtrar and UC Karor, the DC evaluated the availability of medications, healthcare facilities, staff attendance, and overall cleanliness standards at the BHUs. Feedback from patients was also collected to assess the effectiveness of the healthcare services offered.
As a result of the assessment, the DC has instructed the BHU administrations to prioritize and enhance sanitation practices to achieve better public health outcomes.
