Recent actions by Commissioner Karachi and the Anti Encroachment Force lead to the successful removal of an illegal bird market in Liaquatabad, improving traffic conditions and residents' quality of life.

For a significant period, an illegal bird Sunday bazaar in Karachi's Liaquatabad area has been a source of trouble for both traffic and residents. However, recent actions taken by the district administration, in collaboration with the Anti Encroachment Force of Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC), have successfully eradicated this issue.

Commissioner Karachi Syed Hassan Naqvi instructed Deputy Commissioner (DC) Central Fuad Ghaffar to address the problems caused by such illegal markets affecting traffic flow in the area. Subsequently, a team led by AC Liaquatabad Nadeem Aurangzeb, the Director of the Anti-Encroachment Force, and the Traffic police of Karachi Metropolitan Corporation conducted an operation to remove the illegal bird market.

Following the operation, the DC Central submitted a compliance report to Commissioner Karachi. The Assistant Commissioner of the area issued a warning to the organizers and sellers of the illegal bird market, prohibiting them from reopening the market in the future. The Commissioner emphasized the importance of preventing such illegal markets and instructed all DCs to take action against encroachments that disrupt traffic flow within their respective areas.

This successful eradication of the illegal bird Sunday bazaar marks a significant step towards improving traffic conditions and enhancing the quality of life for residents in Karachi's Liaquatabad area.
