Family Tragedy: Siblings Drown in River Rescue Attempt

In a devastating turn of events in Layyah district, South Punjab, a family faced a heart-wrenching loss when three siblings tragically drowned in the Sindh River. The incident began when a young girl accidentally fell into the river while sitting by the bank. In a display of immense bravery and love, her sister immediately jumped in to rescue her, followed by their brother who couldn't bear to see his siblings in danger.

Their father, witnessing the perilous situation, heroically managed to save his son but, unfortunately, was unable to reach his daughters in time. Despite his valiant efforts, both Rehanna, aged six, and Rukhsana, aged ten, lost their lives in the unforgiving waters of the river. Upon receiving the distressing news, rescue teams swiftly arrived at the scene and commenced the operation to recover the bodies of the young girls.

The family, residing in a humble hut near the riverbank, now grapples with an unimaginable loss due to this tragic accident.
