Federal Minister Aurangzeb Ensures Minimum Wage Implementation

The National Assembly recently passed a resolution calling on the government to guarantee the payment of minimum wages across all government and private sectors. This move aims to address the issue of fair compensation for workers in the country.

Responding to the resolution, Federal Minister for Finance and Revenue, Muhammad Aurangzeb, affirmed the federal government's dedication to enforcing minimum wage regulations in the capital and its associated departments. He highlighted that Deputy Commissioners and Commissioners in Islamabad are actively supervising the implementation process.

Furthermore, Minister Aurangzeb noted that subsequent to the parliamentary approval of the minimum wage legislation, an official notification was issued to ensure its prompt implementation.
