Federal Minister for Power Division and Chief Minister Sindh join forces to combat electricity theft, aiming for a more reliable power supply in the region.

The Federal Minister for Power Division, Awais Ahamd Khan Leghari, and Chief Minister Sindh, Syed Murad Ali Shah, recently held a meeting at the Sindh House in Islamabad to discuss cooperation in combating electricity theft. The meeting, which took place on Thursday, aimed to strengthen efforts to prevent electricity pilferage in the region.

During the meeting, both officials agreed to work together to tackle the issue of electricity theft. The Sindh Chief Minister, Syed Murad Ali Shah, pledged full support for the ongoing campaign against electricity pilferage, emphasizing the importance of curbing this illegal activity. In response, the Federal Minister for Power Division, Awais Ahamd Khan Leghari, expressed gratitude to the chief minister for his commitment to the national cause.

Electricity theft is a significant problem in Pakistan, leading to revenue losses for the government and disruptions in the power supply.
