Federal Minister Mohsin Naqvi directs completion of underpasses project

The Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has directed for the prompt completion of the underpasses project in Islamabad to improve the city's transportation infrastructure. In a recent meeting led by Naqvi, the responsibility for finalizing the underpasses was assigned to the Chairman of Capital Development Authority (CDA) and the Chief Commissioner of Islamabad.

Naqvi stressed the importance of constructing two underpasses at Sarina Chowk and Srinagar Highway to enhance the convenience of Islamabad's residents. He also outlined the plan to establish a signal-free corridor in the area, emphasizing the need to maintain the underpasses at their full height.

During the meeting, Naqvi was briefed by officials from the National Engineering Services Pakistan (NESPAK) regarding the initial design of the project. The primary focus remains on accelerating the completion of the underpasses to enhance the transportation network in Islamabad.
