In a remarkable display of bravery and determination, female students of Government Primary Girls' Primary School in Muzaffargarh, Pakistan, took a stand against the illegal conversion of their school into a commercial area by a local landlord. The young students, with unwavering courage, walked to the office of SDPO Circle, DSP Tahir Ejaz to lodge a complaint about the ongoing unauthorized construction on their school premises.
Upon receiving the collective complaint, SDPO Circle immediately escalated the matter to DPO Hussnain Haider and AC Asghar Laghari. A joint team comprising the Assistant Commissioner, revenue staff, police, and SDPO conducted an on-site inspection and confirmed that the construction was indeed encroaching on the school's property.
Following the investigation, the police arrested the landlord, Ghulam Abbas, and his associates, Muhammad Yunis, Amir, and Abdul Khaliq, for their involvement in the illegal occupation. Separate cases were registered against the perpetrators, and the Assistant Commissioner ordered the demolition of the unauthorized structures, including shops and a house, erected within the school's premises.
DPO Hussnain Haider commended the young students for their swift and courageous actions in safeguarding the educational property from unlawful encroachment. The incident serves as a testament to the power of unity and determination in upholding justice and protecting public assets.
