Haseeb Qureshi apprehended after armed clash in Hyderabad

On 31st May, 2024, an incident unfolded near the Municipal Dispensary on Risala road in Hyderabad, Pakistan, resulting in the apprehension of a suspect by the police. The suspect, identified as Haseeb Qureshi, was involved in an armed clash with a City police station team. During the confrontation, Qureshi sustained a gunshot wound to his leg and was subsequently captured by the authorities. His accomplice managed to escape the scene.

Following his arrest, Qureshi was promptly taken to Liaquat University Hospital (LUH) for surgery to treat his injury. A police spokesperson revealed that investigations were underway to determine if Qureshi had any prior criminal record.
