Murree City Traffic Police Ensures Eid-ul-Azha Safety

The City Traffic Police (CTP) in Murree have put forth an extensive strategy to regulate traffic flow and enhance the experience for tourists during the upcoming Eid-ul-Azha celebrations. With a dedicated team of over 700 officers and traffic wardens, the focus is on ensuring the safety and convenience of visitors, particularly by deploying around 300 officers to ensure smooth traffic movement. To bolster security, 16 special checkpoints have been strategically positioned across the hill station.

Moreover, to cater to the needs of tourists, six facilitation centers have been established to provide guidance and support. The Rawalpindi Police have also committed to providing round-the-clock security and assistance to tourists during the Eid festivities. SSP Operations, Flight Lieutenant (retd) Hafiz Kamran Asghar highlighted the importance of collaboration among the police, district administration, and meteorological department to ensure optimal security and traffic management in the region.
