Mayor Sukkur and Leaders Prepare for Eid-ul-Azha Prayer

The city of Sukkur is gearing up for the joyous occasion of Eid-ul-Azha, with elaborate preparations in place for the special prayer gatherings. The main venues for the prayer, Jamia Masjid and Jinnah Municipal Stadium, have completed all arrangements to welcome worshippers for this auspicious day.

At Jamia Masjid, the prayer timings have been scheduled for 6:30 a.m. and 7:00 a.m., with Maulana Qari Khalil Ahmed and his son Maulana Qari Jameel Ahmed set to lead the congregation. The esteemed Mayor Sukkur Barrister Arslan Sheikh, Deputy Mayor Dr Arshad Mughal, MNA Noman Islamuddin Sheikh, and other prominent city figures are expected to grace the event with their presence.

The gathering at Jamia Masjid is anticipated to be the largest in Sukkur, with meticulous arrangements in place for cleanliness and security. The Eidgah area will be thoroughly disinfected and scented, while facilities for ablution will be readily available for worshippers. Similar preparations have been made at 10 other mosques across the city, such as Allah Wali Masjid, Sufaid Masjid, and Maki Masjid, ensuring a seamless and peaceful Eid-ul-Azha prayer experience for all attendees.
