Khawaja Salman Rafique Visits Mayo Hospital Oncology Department

Khawaja Salman Rafique, the Provincial Minister for Specialized Healthcare and Medical Education (SH&ME), recently visited the Oncology Department at Mayo Hospital in Lahore to assess the medical facilities and services provided to cancer patients.

During his inspection, Minister Rafique carefully reviewed the radiation machine, chemotherapy center, and other essential resources within the department. He also took the opportunity to interact with cancer patients undergoing treatment at the hospital, showing genuine concern for their well-being and the quality of care they were receiving.

Prof Abbas Khokhar, the Head of the Department, briefed the minister on the range of medical services available to cancer patients at Mayo Hospital. Minister Rafique expressed his optimism about the positive impact that the reinstatement of radiation facilities at the hospital would have on the lives of thousands of cancer patients.
