Officials Inspect Eid Cleanliness Preparations in Gujranwala District

Provincial Minister for Local Government Zeeshan Rafique and Commissioner Gujranwala Naveed Haider Shirazi recently visited Sambrial and Daska to evaluate the cleanliness preparations for the upcoming Eidul Azha festivities. The officials were accompanied by Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Zulqarnain, who provided a comprehensive overview of the cleaning initiatives planned for Eid celebrations in Iqbal city and across the district. Assistant Commissioners Ahsan Mumtaz and Anwar Ali Kanju, along with chief officers of local bodies, were also present during the assessment.

The visits aimed to ensure that the cities are well-prepared to handle the increased waste generation during Eidul Azha, which is marked by the sacrificial ritual of animals.
