In a recent development, Provincial Minister for Social Welfare, Tariq Ali Talpur, conducted a visit to the office of the Secretary of the Social Welfare Department in Karachi. During the visit, the Secretary of Social Welfare, Sajid Jamal Abro, provided an overview of the department's operational framework. Accompanied by Director General of Social Welfare, Nisar Sheikh, and Director General of Sindh Child Protection Authority, Moazzam Marri, the provincial minister was briefed on the ongoing work within the department.

Expressing contentment with the department's performance, Minister Tariq Ali Talpur emphasized the necessity for enhancing the efficiency of various field-level institutions under the department's jurisdiction. He issued a stern warning, stating that stringent measures would be taken against individuals failing to fulfill their duties adequately.

Minister Talpur asserted, 'I will personally oversee all offices and conduct surprise inspections.' Furthermore, he instructed the timely completion of all ongoing projects to ensure effective service delivery.
