PAIMAN enlightens students on U.S. scholarships

Women University Swabi recently organized an informative session in collaboration with PAIMAN, a project supported by the U.S. Public Affairs Section, to shed light on scholarship opportunities in the United States. The event, which targeted students in their final semesters, particularly those in the 7th and 8th semesters, aimed to provide valuable insights into pursuing higher education abroad.

Dr. Ome Kalsoom, the Director of the Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC) at the university, expressed satisfaction with the student turnout and their active engagement during the session. She underscored the significance of such sessions in equipping students with the necessary knowledge to explore educational pathways overseas, noting the students' eagerness to broaden their academic horizons.

The attendees, especially those nearing the completion of their degrees, lauded the session for its informative presentations and the opportunity it provided to clarify doubts regarding application procedures and prerequisites for various U.S. scholarships.

Ms. Aneela Shamshad, the Senior Program Manager of PAIMAN, shared valuable insights on the diverse range of scholarships available, application deadlines, and effective strategies for crafting compelling applications. The session culminated in a question-and-answer segment, where students had the chance to have their queries addressed, simplifying the process of pursuing higher education opportunities abroad.
