PIA Repatriates Pakistani Students from Bishkek Amid Pandemic

Over the past four days, a total of 1,368 Pakistani students have been successfully repatriated from Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan. This repatriation effort was initiated to bring back stranded students to Pakistan amidst the global pandemic.

Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) played a crucial role in this operation by conducting eight special flights to facilitate the return of these students. The airline has been working tirelessly to ensure the safe return of Pakistani students from various cities in Kyrgyzstan to different cities in Pakistan, including Islamabad, Karachi, Lahore, Peshawar, and Quetta.

Additional repatriation efforts are currently underway, with two more flights scheduled to bring back 348 more stranded students from Kyrgyzstan. The upcoming flights are set to depart from Islamabad and Lahore, with the Lahore flight scheduled for Friday midnight and the Islamabad flight set to take off at 8 am on Saturday.

This ongoing operation highlights the commitment of PIA and the Pakistani government to prioritize the well-being and safe return of Pakistani students during these challenging times.
