Pakistan Army launches inquiry against retired Lt Gen Faiz Hameed

The Pakistan Army has launched an inquiry against retired Lieutenant General Faiz Hameed, former Director General of Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI), following allegations made by the owner of a private housing society. The inquiry committee, led by a Major General, has been formed to investigate the accusations against Lt Gen (r) Faiz Hameed, as directed by the Supreme Court of Pakistan.

During court proceedings, it was revealed that the matter had been previously addressed by the Human Rights Cell of the Supreme Court. The court suggested pursuing the case through appropriate channels, hinting at civil or criminal courts for addressing allegations of malicious prosecution.
