The Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA) in Murree is set to undergo a transformation as the Director General, Ahmad Hasan Ranjha, has issued directives to enhance the recreational facilities in the area. During a recent inspection, the DG assessed the current state of parks and emphasized the need for improvements to cater to the needs of both tourists and locals.
Under the guidance of the Punjab government, the PHA is working diligently to elevate the visitor experience in Murree. Plans are underway to provide amenities such as clean drinking water, comfortable seating benches, and improved lighting across the parks. The DG personally ensured that all facilities, including lighting, seating arrangements, and water provisions, meet the required standards, and instructed officials to take immediate actions to elevate the overall park experience.
Furthermore, in line with the DG's vision, the PHA is gearing up for an extensive plantation campaign during the upcoming monsoon season to enhance the greenery and aesthetics of the parks in Murree.
