Sukkur witnesses a surge in Eid visitors at popular parks, with residents enjoying festivities.
Sukkur witnessed a surge in visitors to recreational spots on the second day of Eid-ul-Fitr, with residents flocking to picnic points to celebrate the joyous occasion. Popular destinations such as Benazir Bhutto Family Park, Muhammad Bin Qasim Park, 'Place of Seven Sisters,' and Lab-e-Mehran were bustling with activity as people immersed themselves in the festivities of Eid.
Visitors expressed their excitement at enjoying Eid in these aesthetically developed recreational spots. Alisha Jamil, who visited Benazir Bhutto Family Park with her family, remarked, 'It's really very exciting to enjoy Eid at the aesthetically developed recreational spot.' Fatima Zehra shared her experience, stating, 'We are having a lot of fun and also have planned to cook meals at home.'
Despite limited public transport and reports of taxi drivers overcharging, a large number of people managed to reach the recreational spots to partake in the Eid celebrations. The parking areas of MBQ Park faced capacity issues, leading to parking challenges uncommon in such locations.
Dua Shah, a student, highlighted the appeal of visiting a picnic spot during Eid holidays, encapsulating the sentiment shared by many visitors.
