The Punjab government introduces free entry for senior citizens at Safari Park Lahore, emphasizing citizen experience and planned enhancements for visitor enjoyment.
The Punjab government has recently announced a significant change in the entry policy for Safari Park Lahore, aimed at benefiting senior citizens. People aged 60 and above will now be able to enjoy the park without having to pay an entry fee. This decision was revealed by Punjab's senior minister Marriyub Aurangzeb during her visit to the Safari Park, where she emphasized the government's commitment to enhancing citizen experience.
Minister Aurangzeb's visit was conducted in accordance with the directives of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, who has prioritized measures to improve public facilities. During the inspection, the minister acknowledged the recent upgrades carried out at the park under the caretaker government's tenure. However, she also highlighted the need for further enhancements to elevate the overall visitor experience.
Earlier this year, the Safari Park underwent a comprehensive renovation and expansion, culminating in its reopening to the public. The park boasts a diverse array of wildlife, including ostriches, deer, stags, kudus, aryals, and more, offering a unique recreational opportunity for visitors. Situated 13 kilometers from Thokar Niazbaig on Multan Road, Lahore, the park operates from 8 am until sunset, providing ample time for exploration and enjoyment.
