A robber lost his life in a police encounter during a robbery response in Gujar Khan. Stolen cash, an iPhone, a weapon, and a motorbike were recovered. The deceased robber was wanted in 29 cases across Rawalpindi district.

In a recent incident in Gujar Khan, a robber lost his life during a police encounter that occurred in the early hours of Friday. The Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) of Gujar Khan, Saleem Khattak, informed that the police were alerted about a robbery through an emergency call. Upon arriving at the scene, the police encountered three individuals who opened fire in an attempt to flee. During the exchange of gunfire, one of the robbers was injured by his own accomplices, while another was successfully apprehended by the police. Tragically, one of the robbers, identified as Sardar Wali, succumbed to his injuries at the hospital. Another robber managed to escape the scene. The police recovered stolen cash amounting to Rs. 0.6 million, an iPhone, a weapon, and a motorbike from the robbers. Sardar Wali, the deceased robber, was a resident of Gujar Khan city and was wanted in 29 cases across Rawalpindi district.

SSP Operations, Hafiz Kamran Asghar, commended the police for their prompt response and directed them to conduct a search operation to locate the third robber who fled the scene. The successful operation led by the police highlights their dedication to maintaining law and order in the region.
