Sajjad Khokhar confesses to brutal family massacre

In a tragic incident that has shocked the nation, a man named Sajjad Khokhar brutally murdered his wife and seven children in the Madwala area of Alipur, Muzaffargarh. The gruesome act was reportedly driven by financial strains that the family was facing. According to local sources, the couple frequently clashed over financial issues, leading to domestic violence.

Following the heinous crime, Punjab police swiftly apprehended the culprit and filed a case against him. Sajjad Khokhar confessed to the murders, citing his inability to provide for his children as the motive behind his violent actions. The victims of this horrific incident were identified as 40-year-old Kausar, along with their children: 8-year-old Ansa, 7-year-old Kanza, 5-year-old Ramsha, 4-year-old Shehnaz, 3-year-old Anas, 2-year-old Subhan, and 4-month-old Manza.

Expressing sorrow over the tragedy, Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has directed the Punjab Inspector General of Police to investigate the matter thoroughly. This appalling event comes shortly after a similar incident in Karachi, where a man attempted suicide after poisoning his wife and children due to financial difficulties.
