The KP Chief Minister's Secretariat establishes an Emergency Flood Control Room to coordinate flood response efforts, led by Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur. Medical camps are set up in rain-affected districts to provide immediate assistance.

An 'Emergency Flood Control Room' has been set up at the KP Chief Minister’s Secretariat in anticipation of potential flooding caused by heavy rains in the province. The primary objective of this control room is to coordinate with relevant stakeholders, manage activities, share information, and respond to emergencies throughout the region. Operating 24/7, the control room will promptly alert the Chief Minister about any emergencies or critical situations that arise in any part of the province.

Mohsin Iqbal, Deputy Secretary (Governance) of the Chief Minister’s Secretariat, has been appointed as the Focal Person/In-charge of the Emergency Flood Control Room.
