Congress Party Struggles with Unmet Promises in Telangana

In Telangana, the Congress party, aiming to secure 12 out of 17 seats in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, is facing challenges as some voters feel let down by unfulfilled promises made during the Assembly polls. While the government swiftly implemented certain schemes like free bus travel for women, many applicants were left dissatisfied due to exclusion from benefits. Farmers, in particular, are discontented as none of the assurances made to them have materialized.

Opinions among voters are divided based on whether they have benefited from initiatives such as free electricity and subsidized cooking gas. Those who have not received the promised benefits are turning towards supporting the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) party, citing its efficient welfare scheme implementations.
