The Pakistan Meteorological Department warns of hot and dry weather across Pakistan, with varying temperatures in major cities and isolated rain in Gilgit-Baltistan. Stay informed for a safe Eid-ul-Azha celebration.

The upcoming twenty-four hours will bring hot and dry weather to most parts of Pakistan, particularly affecting the central and southern plains. However, residents of Gilgit-Baltistan may experience partly cloudy conditions with light rain and thunderstorms in isolated areas during the evening and night.

Major cities across Pakistan will see varying temperatures: Islamabad at 21°C, Lahore at 29°C, Karachi at 30°C, Peshawar at 22°C, Quetta at 19°C, Gilgit at 13°C, Murree at 18°C, and Muzaffarabad at 20°C.

In Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the weather forecast includes partly cloudy and dry conditions in Srinagar, Leh, Pulwama, Anantnag, Shopian, and Baramula. Conversely, Jammu will face hot and dry weather. Recorded temperatures this morning were Srinagar, Anantnag, and Shopian at 12°C, Jammu at 26°C, Leh at 6°C, and Pulwama and Baramula at 13°C.

Dr. Sardar Monday, the Chief Meteorologist of the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), has warned that the first day of Eid-ul-Azha will be extremely hot and humid nationwide.
