Mirpur Weather: Storms Bring Relief, Challenges

Recently, the residents of Mirpur were taken by surprise as a sudden change in weather patterns brought relief from the scorching heat. Following a period of rising temperatures, heavy rainfall and a windstorm swept through the area, causing a significant drop in temperatures. As the heavy rainfall persisted throughout the day, the weather became more pleasant, albeit causing problems for kacha houses and slums in different parts of AJK. The Met Office has predicted more rain in the next 24 hours, hinting at further precipitation in the region.
