Abdul Wajid Shaikh, a former PCS officer, appointed as Chief Inspector of Stamps in Sindh, optimizing efficiency in government departments.
Abdul Wajid Shaikh, a former PCS officer with a rank of BS-19, has been appointed as the Chief Inspector of Stamps at the Board of Revenue in Sindh. This appointment, effective immediately, fills a crucial role within the department. The decision was communicated through an official notification released on Thursday.
Prior to this new assignment, Abdul Wajid Shaikh held the position of Additional Secretary in the Home Department. His transfer to the role of Chief Inspector of Stamps was necessitated by an existing vacancy that needed to be filled promptly. In a related development, Shah Nawaz Soomro, another former PCS officer with a rank of BS-19, was reassigned from the People’s Poverty Reduction, Planning, and Development Department to the position of Additional Secretary in the Home Department.
This reshuffling of roles within the government departments aims to optimize efficiency and ensure that each position is filled by a qualified individual. Abdul Wajid Shaikh's experience and expertise make him well-suited for his new role as the Chief Inspector of Stamps, where he will oversee important stamp-related matters at the Board of Revenue in Sindh.
