The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) has recently intensified its efforts to combat drug trafficking in Pakistan, leading to significant seizures and arrests. In a series of successful operations, ANF officials confiscated over 64 kilograms of drugs and apprehended two suspects involved in illegal drug activities.

One of the notable interceptions occurred at Faisalabad Airport, where authorities seized 918 grams of heroin from a passenger attempting to smuggle the contraband. Another operation revealed 44 grams of marijuana hidden in a parcel originating from the UK at a courier office in Rawalpindi.

ANF's relentless crackdown extended to Pisni Gwadar, where 60 kilograms of hashish were confiscated, and to Ahmedabad Attock, where 3.6 kilograms of hashish were seized from a suspect. These operations underscore ANF's commitment to curbing the drug trade and ensuring public safety.

Amidst these developments, a controversial request was made by Omar to the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) for the Hamoodur Rehman Commission report, adding a layer of intrigue to the ongoing efforts to combat drug trafficking in the country.

The recent actions taken by the ANF demonstrate the government's determination to tackle drug trafficking and protect communities from the harmful effects of illegal drugs. Through vigilant enforcement and strategic operations, law enforcement agencies like the ANF play a crucial role in maintaining law and order and safeguarding public health.
