ANF's Successful Operations Lead to Major Drug Seizures and Arrests

The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) recently conducted a series of successful operations across Pakistan, resulting in the seizure of a total of 324 kg of drugs and the apprehension of 15 individuals involved in drug trafficking. These operations were carried out in various locations, including Karachi, Balochistan, and Islamabad.

In a significant operation in Karachi, authorities intercepted a parcel bound for Japan and discovered 27 kg of ice, leading to the arrest of a suspect. At Islamabad Airport, 900 grams of ice were found on a passenger heading to Bahrain, further highlighting the ANF's commitment to combating drug smuggling.

Separate operations in Balochistan led to the confiscation of 138.8 kg of hashish, 14 kg of opium, and 10 kg of ice from two suspects. In another operation near No. 26 Chungi Islamabad, authorities seized 4.8 kg of opium and 91.2 kg of hashish from six suspects, including five women. Additional drug seizures included 18 kg of hashish in Orangi Karachi, 16.8 kg of hashish near Ghori Town Road Islamabad, and 2.4 kg of hashish in Sohrab Goth Karachi.

All individuals apprehended during these operations have been charged under the Anti-Narcotics Act, and investigations are currently underway to dismantle drug trafficking networks and hold perpetrators accountable.

The ANF's relentless efforts to combat drug trafficking have resulted in significant seizures and arrests, sending a strong message against the illegal drug trade. By intercepting large quantities of drugs and apprehending individuals involved in trafficking, the ANF is making strides towards creating a drug-free society and safeguarding the well-being of the community.
