The Anti-Narcotics Force in Pakistan conducts successful operations resulting in significant drug seizures, arrests, and efforts to combat drug trafficking.

The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) has made significant strides in combating drug trafficking with the successful execution of 10 operations across Pakistan. These operations resulted in the confiscation of a total of 2133 kg of various drugs and the arrest of seven individuals involved in drug smuggling.

One of the operations conducted at Lahore Airport led to the recovery of 580 grams of heroin from a parcel destined for the UK. In another operation at Karachi Airport, 460 grams of Ice were seized from a passenger attempting to travel to Bahrain.

Furthermore, a significant amount of drugs, including 1.4 kg of Ice and 2080 metric tons of hashish, were intercepted in separate operations in Quetta, Fort Abdullah, and Port Qasim Karachi. Additional seizures included 14 grams of weed in Rawalpindi, 14 kg of hashish near Sukran Road Hub, and 8.8 kg of hashish along with 2.4 kg of opium in Islamabad.

The ANF also apprehended an Afghan national at Zero Line Torkham with 5.6 kg of diazepam and another individual near GT Road, Attock, with 460 grams of hashish. Cases have been registered against the arrested individuals under the Anti-Narcotics Act, and investigations are ongoing.

The ANF's relentless efforts to combat drug trafficking have yielded significant results, with the seizure of a substantial amount of drugs and the arrest of individuals involved in illegal drug activities. These operations underscore the ANF's commitment to curbing the drug trade and safeguarding communities from the harmful effects of narcotics.
