A high-level meeting chaired by Balochistan Chief Minister Bugti focused on reviewing law and order post Noshki terrorism incident. Bugti stressed collective efforts in the war against terrorism and the need for a unified approach.

Quetta: A high-level meeting on law and order was convened at the CM Secretariat, chaired by Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfaraz Bugti. The meeting, attended by top officials including IG Police Abdul Khaliq Sheikh and Chief Secretary Balochistan Shakeel Qadir Khan, focused on reviewing the law and order situation following the recent Noshki terrorism incident.

During the meeting, Commissioner and DIG Rukhshan Division provided a detailed briefing on the Noshki tragedy, which was strongly condemned by all participants. It was unanimously agreed to revise the security plan to prevent similar incidents in the future.

Chief Minister Bugti emphasized that the 'war against terrorism is not just for security forces' but a collective effort against the enemies of peace. He stressed the importance of joint efforts involving civil armed forces, bureaucracy, judiciary, and media in combating terrorism. Bugti reaffirmed the government's commitment to fighting terrorism with political responsibility and a comprehensive action plan.

The meeting concluded with a decision to reevaluate the security plan to enhance measures aimed at preventing future incidents like the one in Noshki. The participants reiterated their shared responsibility in the war against terrorism and the need for a unified approach to tackle this menace.
