Cambridge International Education confirms O and A level exams in Pakistan will proceed as scheduled despite Youm-e-Takbeer holiday. Students advised to prioritize academic commitments for fair testing environment.
Cambridge International Education has announced that the O and A level examinations in Pakistan will continue as scheduled, despite the public holiday on May 28th to mark Youm-e-Takbeer. This day commemorates the successful nuclear tests carried out on May 28, 1998, which played a crucial role in enhancing the country's defense capabilities.
The federal government of Pakistan has declared May 28th as a public holiday to honor the historic event of the nuclear tests conducted over two decades ago. However, Cambridge Board has confirmed that the ongoing O Levels and A Levels exams will not be affected by this national holiday. A spokesperson from CIE emphasized that students should adhere to the exam timetable and be present for their scheduled papers as planned.
Despite the significance of Youm-e-Takbeer, students appearing for their O and A Level exams are advised to prioritize their academic commitments and ensure they are well-prepared for the assessments. Cambridge International Education remains committed to maintaining the integrity and continuity of the examination process, providing students with a fair and conducive testing environment.
