The recent District Coordination Committee meeting in Faisalabad, led by MNA Chaudhary Shehbaz Babar Gujjar, emphasized the importance of completing public welfare projects promptly. The meeting highlighted collaborative efforts towards Faisalabad's development and progress, reflecting a strong commitment to serving the community.

The recent District Coordination Committee (DCC) meeting in Faisalabad, led by Member National Assembly (MNA) Chaudhary Shehbaz Babar Gujjar, highlighted the importance of completing public welfare projects promptly. Faisalabad, as Pakistan's third major city, is a key focus for development initiatives, with a strong commitment from the government to provide maximum facilities to the public.

During the meeting, Gujjar urged the district administration to accelerate work on all development schemes to ensure timely completion. He emphasized the significance of the 'Suthra Punjab' program in rural areas and called for enhanced performance from all departments in serving the public. Gujjar also stressed a zero-tolerance policy towards negligence, directing authorities like the police, Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL), Faisalabad Electric Supply Company (FESCO), and Water & Sanitation Agency (WASA) to address public complaints promptly.

Deputy Commissioner (DC) Abdullah Nayyar Sheikh provided an overview of ongoing public welfare and development projects, emphasizing collaboration with parliament members. Sheikh outlined a comprehensive strategy for addressing public grievances and ensuring strict action against non-performing officials. The meeting discussed the progress of development schemes proposed for 2024-25, with 120 schemes approved for Faisalabad.

Key projects such as the up-gradation of Allied Hospital-I, Allied Hospital-II (DHQ Hospital), Abdullah Pur-Jhumra Road Flyover, and the Parking Plaza outside Chiniot Bazaar were prioritized for completion. City Police Officer (CPO) Kamran Adil briefed the meeting on law and order efforts, highlighting the police's actions to ensure public safety through strict measures against criminals.

MPAs Chaudhary Arif Mehmood Gill, Rao Kashif Raheem, Zafar Iqbal Nagra, Jaffar Ali Hocha, and Khan Bahadur Dogar also attended the meeting, emphasizing a collective commitment to the district's development and welfare.
