Chief Minister Bugti calls for improved service delivery

Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti of Balochistan has called for increased efforts from administrative officers to improve service delivery and provide relief to the public. In a recent meeting, he announced plans to hold a conference for key officials to develop a clear strategy for law enforcement and public welfare.

The Home Department provided updates on peace restoration efforts and discussed progress on compensating victims of terrorism. Bugti stressed the importance of security agencies working together to combat terrorism and maintain peace in the province. He highlighted the need for collaboration between Levies and Police to ensure citizen safety and property protection.

Chief Minister Bugti emphasized the government's commitment to taking strong action against terrorists and their supporters, emphasizing the importance of upholding the rule of law. He also called for proactive measures such as snap checking in urban areas to prevent crimes and extortion at checkpoints.

Officers' performance will be evaluated based on Key Performance Indicators to ensure accountability, with Bugti warning that complaints against officials will be promptly addressed. He underlined the significance of district officers enforcing the law impartially and treating all members of society equally.

The meeting was attended by high-ranking officials, including Inspector General of Police Abdul Khalique Shaikh and Principal Secretary to CM Imran Zirkoon, among others.
