Chief Minister Bugti leads efforts to establish a National Driving Licence Authority center in Balochistan, focusing on training driving professionals and enhancing global employment opportunities for the youth through language proficiency programs.

In a bid to enhance employment opportunities for the youth of Balochistan, Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti chaired a review meeting to establish a National Driving Licence Authority center in the province. The initiative aims to provide training courses to drivers, enabling them to obtain driving licenses and pursue careers in driving professions.

During the meeting, it was highlighted that there is a significant demand for driving professionals in Europe and the Middle East, with approximately 300,000 and 100,000 positions available, respectively. The authority will issue a C license, meeting international standards, which will open doors for local individuals to secure employment opportunities globally.

Chief Minister Bugti emphasized the importance of equipping the youth of Balochistan with world-class professional training to develop high-quality technical human resources. The training programs will not only focus on driving skills but also include language proficiency in Arabic, French, and English, enhancing the employability of the youth and enabling them to contribute to the economic growth of the province.

Furthermore, Bugti highlighted the government's commitment to providing diverse training opportunities for talented youth in Balochistan, ensuring they can leverage these programs to secure meaningful employment in Europe and the Middle East, leading to a sustainable livelihood.

As part of the directives issued during the meeting, the Chief Secretary was tasked with overseeing the establishment of driving schools, while the Balochistan Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority (BTEVTA) was instructed to evaluate the establishment of driving schools through public-private partnerships and submit a comprehensive report.

The establishment of the National Driving Licence Authority center in Balochistan signifies a significant step towards empowering the youth of the province by providing them with valuable skills and employment opportunities on a global scale. Through strategic training initiatives and language proficiency programs, the government aims to equip the youth with the necessary tools to thrive in the competitive job market, ultimately contributing to the economic development of Balochistan.
