Deputy Commissioner Riaz leads efforts to regulate prices in Mirpur

Deputy Commissioner Mirpur Yasir Riaz, under the guidance of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Prime Minister Chaudhry Anwar ul Haque, is leading the district administration's efforts to protect the lives and properties of citizens. Riaz assured the delegation that steps are being taken to regulate prices and guarantee the availability of essential food items at subsidized rates, all while maintaining quality and hygiene standards. Special magistrates are overseeing regular inspections to enforce price controls, with penalties for those found overcharging. Surprise checks at entry points are also preventing the sale of substandard and adulterated milk in the district.

The deputy commissioner emphasized the administration's commitment to addressing citizen's concerns and maintaining law and order in Mirpur, AJK. These measures aim to ensure fair pricing, quality products, and a safe environment for all residents.
