Governor Punjab Donates to Special Education Center

During a recent visit to a special education center in Pindi Gehb, Governor Punjab Sardar Saleem Haider Khan highlighted the critical need for providing top-notch facilities and quality education to special children. He emphasized that it is not only a moral obligation but also a religious duty to ensure the welfare of special children and integrate them as productive members of society.

The governor's visit included a comprehensive briefing on the students, faculty, and challenges faced by the school. The local community leader pointed out that the special education center, situated on a 6-kanal land and initially funded with Rs 20 million in 2022, is under the management of General (retd) Muhammad Arif Malik.

In a generous gesture, Governor Sardar Saleem Haider announced a donation of Rs 0.5 million to the school management committee to support the academic needs of deserving special students.
