Hassanabdal Police Crackdown on Illegal Cock-Fighting Ring

On a recent Saturday, the Hassanabdal Police made a significant breakthrough by apprehending nine individuals involved in illegal gambling activities related to cock-fighting. Acting on a tip-off, a police team conducted a raid at a gaming establishment located near a brick kiln in the Fateh Ullah village. The operation resulted in the arrest of the suspects and the seizure of two roosters along with a substantial amount of betting money totaling Rs 470,400.

The crackdown on the illicit gambling den was carried out under the provisions of the Gambling Act, highlighting the authorities' commitment to curbing such unlawful activities in the region.
