Burewala police apprehend 28 individuals linked to criminal gangs, recovering stolen goods worth over Rs 7.1 million, showcasing their commitment to public safety and law enforcement.
Recently, the police in Burewala made a significant breakthrough by capturing 28 individuals associated with 11 criminal gangs that were actively engaged in robbery activities. This successful operation led to the recovery of stolen goods worth over Rs 7.1 million, showcasing the dedication of law enforcement in combating crime.
Deputy Superintendent of Police, Zafar Iqbal Dogar, revealed the arrests during a press briefing, emphasizing the importance of this achievement in maintaining public safety.
The operation, led by Station House Officer Mazhar Fareed of Model Town, resulted in the apprehension of dangerous criminals. The recovered items included 31 motorcycles, stolen goods exceeding Rs 7.1 million, a significant amount of illegal firearms used in robbery attempts, and over 10 kilograms of hashish.
Aside from the gang members, 34 individuals with outstanding warrants for serious offenses were also taken into custody. Additionally, the authorities successfully identified and detained suspects involved in two separate homicide cases, underscoring their commitment to upholding law and order.
